Announcing AFC Fight Nite! 09.05.11

Post-4-image

Finally, elite Australian Mixed Martial Arts returns to Melbourne on a regular basis with the AFC Fight Nite. The AFC intends to lift the standard of MMA in this country by presenting a higher standard of competition more often.

The AFC will to invite only the best MMA athletes in Australia to perform on a Fight Nite card, and by matching the best with the best, consistantly, we look forward to Australian MMA reaching new levels of performance. The actual timeframe is not yet finalised, but the AFC Fight Nites will be regular events, continually bringing the best in Australia to Melbourne to compete.

After encountering some difficulties with venues, the first AFC Fight Nite will be held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Aughtie Drive Albert Park within the main Showcourt facility. The AFC will continue to search for the perfect venue, however MSAC may very well prove to be just what we were looking for all along. We will announce a release date for ticket sales through Ticketmaster shortly.

These AFC Fight Nites will run in conjunction with our larger international events and AFC2 is now not too far away. We have experienced some unforseen delays in getting to this point, but now it’s all systems go. The AFC is excited and looking forward to giving Melbourne MMA fans more of the best.

You see, we’re all MMA fans at the AFC, and we just put on match ups that we really want to see.

So we know you’re going to love it.
