At AFC 10 on August 16 James Londrigan will return to the AFC when he takes on the durable Luke "The Lycan" Catubig.
After a first up submission loss to Anthony Cowley at AFC 9, James is keen to get on the winners list. After a fast start against the Cowley, Londrigan was embroiled in a an intense grappling war until he was caught in a Rear Naked Choke:
"I'm a little disappointed with how the fight went last time. Things were going well early. Hopefully I've fixed those little mistakes and can get the win this time"
Coming from a Jiu-Jitsu pedigree, Londrigan also encompasses a diverse range of striking which he feels will hold him in good steed come August 16:
"I think I'm pretty well rounded. My ground games pretty solid and my strikings improving with every week"
In just over a month Londrigan will face the extremely tough Luke Catubig who has been in the ring with some of the AFC's finest. Safe to say James isn't really sure what to expect:
"No idea really. Just trying to focus on my own game and see where that takes me"
James is renowned for his fights not making it out of the first round, and come AFC 10 he is expecting this trend to continue:
"Well I'm still yet to see the second round so hopefully another first round finish"
